This is an actual response from a Symantec employee on the moronic removal of the central inbox or all folders view, the only reason I bought this app to use.
Again, apologies. Unfortunately this was a case of not knowing what our users are really using the product for. Since it is not practical to run a beta for iOS applications with the larger user community, we could not really gauge the critical nature of a feature such as All Folders. Had we a way to do that, we probably could have avoided this.
Had we noticed any positively reinforcing reviews/comments from users about how they purchased the product for this one feature, we could have avoided this. However, our teams are working hard to ensure these are reinstated (we will be submitting early next week if all goes well).
